Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Benoit Sartre, Micro-entrepreneur (SIRET: 91538512400010), trading as Rendee (rendee.co) ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data when you use the Rendee.co platform. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Third-Party Processors

  • Stripe (Stripe, Inc. / Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.) — payment processing. Data transferred under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC) — AI content generation. Your project memory and generation requests are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's API data is not used to train models by default.
  • Resend (Resend, Inc.) — transactional email (magic-link login). Only your email address is shared.
  • Unsplash (Unsplash Inc.) — royalty-free stock images searched and downloaded on your behalf to illustrate generated videos. No personal data is sent to Unsplash.
  • Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting (Germany). All data is stored on servers in the EU.

3. Retention

  • Generated video files and uploaded media: deleted automatically after 7 days.
  • Text content (posts, captions) and project memory: retained for the lifetime of your account.
  • Account and billing records: retained for the duration of the account plus any legally required period (typically 5 years for accounting records under French law).
  • Abuse-prevention records (IP, hashed fingerprint): retained for up to 12 months.

4. Authentication & Cookies

Rendee uses magic-link authentication — no password is ever created or stored. Authentication is handled by a signed session cookie stored in your browser. We also use localStorage for lightweight UI preferences (e.g. content language selection). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

5. Your GDPR Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any right, email contact@rendee.co. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French supervisory authority.
